BlackBerry is losing market share world wide, but at some countries BlackBerry is now regaining some of its market share.
Research group Kantar Worldpanel ComTech has new data that reveals BlackBerry has had its local marketshare grow from 0.4 percent to 1.3 percent between September 2012 and September 2013.
The data also found that the iPhone and Windows Phones also gained marketshare. However, Android was found to have lost 10.8 percent marketshare.
BlackBerry may have lost some key enterprise customers like Qantas and Woolworths, but they did manage to gain the support of the Australian Transportation Safety Bureau.
“We will absolutely remain focused on serving our market here,” said BlackBerry Australia managing director, Matthew Ball. “News of our death is printed on an almost daily basis and, from a personal perspective that can be really frustrating and distracting to the market.”
