BlackBerry Z30 is the first phablet by BlackBerry and is powered by BlackBerry’s latest OS version 10.2. The device flaunts a large 5-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution at 294 ppi pixel density and supports multi-touch. It runs on a Dual-core 1.7GHz Krait processor and Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset along with 2GB of RAM for seamless multi-tasking. Internal storage of 16GB is provided which can further be expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card slot. The device has a bar form factor with thickness of only 9.4 mm.

The stereo speakers and new BlackBerry Natural Sound technology of Z30 deliver high quality sound for music and videos and also make BBM Voice and BBM Video chats sound much more realistic. To provide better connectivity and brisk data transfers even in low signal areas, the Z30 is equipped with new antenna technology BlackBerry Paratek Antenna that can dynamically tunes reception.

The Z30 comes packed with an 8 megapixels primary autofocus camera that can shoot images of up to 3264 x 2448 pixels resolution and includes a number of functions like Image stabilization, Geo-tagging, Face detection, Video stabilization, LED flash and 1080p Full HD video recording at up to 30 frames per second. A 2MP front facing camera is also part of the package that records 720p HD videos at up to 30fps.
